Suddenly the road becomes wide and a row of tree along the road appears. Siddharth is walking in the shadow of those trees and feeling pleasent after a long walk in the scorching heat of sun. Still he is not able to find out, toward where this road is going. It seems long to him, somewhere ending in the horizon. Looking toward it he is thinking how much more he will have to walk. Feeling tired and want to remain in the coolness of the trees but he knows that this is just for a little time.
Why not the time elapsed always with the same pace. Why the distance between the two seconds is reduced suddenly for him. But that is neither the question nor the answer he is looking for. How much more such cycles from heat to cold he will have to face. Why not he could remain in this coolness for always. Siddharth is thinking hard that whether at any point of time he will be able to find out an answer or not.
Its long siddharth is walking on that road. He looks around and found a place below a tree to sit down. He decided to spent some time here and give some rest to his tired body. But still these questions are not leaving his mind. He closed his eyes and tried to take his restless mind toward peace. Intution is the source of all thoughts but from where this intution starts, who knows. Intution demands a mind in a state of peace and having inward looking eyes. Siddharth left these questions to his intution and gradullay calmed down his mind. After a long time he suddenly felt a ray of hope and a light inside him. Afterall for what he is worried. Why he feels the pain when he sees the evil around him, when he sees the unequality persisting and when he sees so many people are crying around him, struggling to get through the life. Why this beautiful world created by almighty god is full with struggles. Why even those having all the positivity of life but still looks unhappy. Why even he as a prince having all comforts of life but still feel discontent inside him. Why everybody wants more and more and what is the end purpose of all these quests. Does anything exist in the world which could satisfy that insatiable thirst? Where is the upper limit. Is there any??
Religion of the river is to flow. Duty of the wind is to move. Transformation and change is the reality of this material existence and slaves are bound to exercise their duties. They couldn't go away from it and only few ones could know the difference. Freedom lies on that side but a sea in between with all its beauty and horrors and this boat has to sail through it. Experiencing all but without getting attached at any point. So, oh Siddhartha, just move on. The inner teacher who dwells in the heart make his voice louder. With his stilled mind and purified senses Siddhartha is now able to listen that deep voice. No body can escape the law of karma. He is bound to live as he designed to make this complex web, the matrix, a reality. But, oh Siddhartha, everybody starts from a clean slate and on that he only writes his own story by his own hands. You call it fate. But this is this law of karma which is governing this world so make your choices wisely for which i am giving you the freedom to choose and to will. Everybody will get what he desired deep in his heart so why you worried. You are not responsible for anybody. See that tree, Can you say that its leaves are perfect or its stem is perfect. No, This is the tree which is perfect not its parts. Everything is here in the same way. Good and evil both when mix then comes the equilibrium and both are necessary to have this. Play your part of role and don't see what others are playing. As said by Krishna to Arjuna, why you are putting your mind over results. Why are you worried for them. your duty is to do work so do it with your full concentration and move on. Oh Siddhartha, that's why i created this world with all its teachings. why are you closing your eyes, open them and see it and feel it and do what you are supposed to do.
Siddhartha has decided to take this new journey under the new sun and its energized light. He knows now the ultimate purpose and that he is destined toward it, so everbody is. Everything is changing and moving toward the same goal so I am. There is no death and only the transformation. There is no mortality only the immortality. There is no darkness only the light. Everything is just relative to each other and so it seems so. Look it as a whole with oneness in your eyes and thoughts and you will see him as called by the ancient hindu thinkers, the brahma, The eternal energy.

ReplyDeletehmmm ... Siddharth is under the state of confusion and dilemma at the start ...he is tired ...and worried ....and undecided ....But thanks to Geeta ...it shows the way :) ... But even if he did not have the ultimate purpose defined, rather just the knowledge of Karma.... he could have done well...!
ReplyDeleteI knew you have been reading Geeta .... :) I used to think a lot when I read it the first time ...and trust me if you read it the second time and the third time ...the more you will feel good and better ...and confident ....Geeta is really the ultimate source of being good and energetic ...and internal strength ...
BTW, do run your blog through a spell check (there is a button ABC with a tick mark on it) which helps you do this.

ReplyDeleteYeah that's true... Geeta teaches us about how to maintain a right attitude toward life and work...
ReplyDeleteIt's a big source of inner energy and inspiration... I had in mind some Buddhist thoughts when I was writing this story around 1.5yr back... That's how the name Siddhartha came even :)..... I always wondered what is that which Siddhartha would have felt at the time of his enlightenment... The ultimate purpose defined is just my interpretation of that moment...
